    Men's Hoka Bondi 6

This is my third pair of these Hoka Bondi 6 from Run Moore. Lots of cushion and bounce for this senior citizen. They sort of throw me forward into the next step. Love them.

    Hoka Bondi 6

These shoes are definitely on the bizarre side and by far the most cushioned of running shoes I've ever had. That being said, knee pain that I'd feel otherwise earlier in my runs is practically gone and I think they'll only get better as I rack up more mileage!

not waiting for the Bondi 7

Posted by Tony on Jan 31st 2020

I don't see any real reason to wait until August 2020 for the new Bondi 7. Being that I am a Bondi runner for at least 6 years or so , the only reason I would wait for an update is if they significantly reduced the weight of the shoe. For the Bondi 7 , they have not . They changed the upper and put memory foam in the collar and I say ,BFD. The Bondi 6 is a great shoe and a best seller so I guess Dexter Shoes figured why put money in a design to decrease weight when they have the Clifton . I can tell you honestly that the Clifton is a heavily cushioned lightweight shoe but it can not compare to the ground protection of the Bondi. I would say it is about 75% to 80 % of Bondi cushioning. If you need maximum cushioning stick with the Bondi even though it is heavier. I'm due for a new pair of Bondi s in March of this year so I will not be waiting for the new Bondi 7. The upper , fit ,feel and comfort of the 6 is excellent so unless they eventually come out with a Bondi that is under 10 oz. in a size 8.5 , I will just buy whatever Bondi is available when I need it . Buy from RUNMOORE because he is a small business and he will give you 10 % off of the retail price.

    Hoka One One Bondi 6

Posted by mike p pellegrino on Aug 30th 2019

I have run in Bondi 4's for years. At 76 years old I wanted a shoe that was comfortable and "protective". Like many others, I noted the toe box was too tight. I compensated by keeping the laces quite loose. When I saw Steve's video about the Bond 6 shoe and the enlarged toe box, I ordered a pair. I found that since I could now lace them tighter, this shoe has far greater"therapeutic" value for me than the Bondi 4.

I am grateful for the video and Steve's clear presentation about the shoe. I do have a few pair of "new" Bondi 4 shoes that I had stockpiled after testing the Bondi 5. I expect to use them for non-running activity.

The Bondi 6 is the best Hoka running shoe since the Bondi 3.. Great customer service with Runmoore. Very satisfied. I will definitely order again.

    Hoka Bondi 6

When you absolutely need the most cushion under your feet , despite it's 10.37 oz. for a size 8.5 , this is the shoe that will protect you the most. A great training shoe for old or injured feet. If I were competing , I would use a lighter , more flexible and responsive shoe, but for everyday running for fitness or training, the extra protection from the Bondi will help prevent foot problems caused by pavement pounding

    Back to basics

Posted by Patrick on Nov 7th 2018

Thanks, Steve, for the review of the Bondi 6, it was spot on. While I liked the Bondi 5 and got many good miles out of them, the 6 is back to the Hoka that I always loved.
